Nickkerkwijk Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) I noticed that in last OB update we have a PRECISE coordinate option now. How does it works? Maybe Wags's Jdam update video will help you: You can change to precise coords on the F10 map with Lalt Y. Edited June 7, 2019 by Nickkerkwijk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SirJ Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 is the precise limited to JDAM or also avail. on waypoints?
ED Team Wags Posted June 7, 2019 ED Team Posted June 7, 2019 I'll try to create an instruction video next week. Thanks Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
DarkStar79 Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 The precise option implemented yesterday has nothing to do with JDAMs. It is a navigation mode. It definatly have something to do with JDAMs. It should make them hit more precise if used in TOO mode.
BarTzi Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 No, the precise option implemented in the last update has nothing to do with JDAMs. It is a navigation input+read mode. You can use the waypoint as a TGT for JDAMs but that doesnt make the new feature related to the weapon. But TOO mode does benefit from it.
kaoqumba Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I noticed that in last OB update we have a PRECISE coordinate option now. How does it works? It's very simple to use. The previous coordinates can be entered as xx.xx.xx. Now you can enter more precise xx. xx. xx. xx. The specific use method is to input the first two xx. xx, determine. Then enter the last two xx. XX
kaoqumba Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 You are missing a big new feature here. Now we can select from the A/C page the format in which we want to input/read coordinates between DCML and SEC. Each option has PRECISE boxed or unboxed. Cheers. What's the use of them? Can you tell me? Thank you
