ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 27, 2019 ED Team Posted June 27, 2019 (edited) The bug is being worked on and although is a major bug only effects the norender servers so is not a complete show stopper, there is a work around ( not using -norender ). When we have news on a fix we will pass it on. Thanks Edited June 27, 2019 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? DD_Fenrir Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Only? To my mind every Dedicated Server out there in multiplayer is using the no-render option! Our squads runs on a virtual machine, we waited specifically for the no-render version to be able to do so in parallel with other sims plus benefit from the reduced RAM usage to run scenarios without significant lag, warping, connection issues and timeouts that we have suffered previously when obliged to run either DCS full render on server or have a member obliged to host the mission as well as fly - which also seems to cause issues by the way - and suffer the performance and connection degradations incumbent with such a scenario. Furthermore, for EDs information my squad of 26 paying customers would like them to know that they're more than a little hacked off at being regarded as unimportant, and remind them that next time they want to pull a stunt like this, that there's supposed to be a delineation between Open Beta and Stable Release versions for a reason. Next time an apology would be better received than a "you're not important enough to worry about" lecture. We're quite happy to take our dollars elsewhere.

You are mistaken, that is not the attitude here, ED are aware, they have acknowledge the issue and are working on it, we do have a work around so our users can continue to play. We hope there will be a quick resolution to this bug, when we have news we will pass it on. I have passed on the feedback from the community to the team.
