ozdude Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Had this problem for the last few days that I could not get into DCS in VR, the mouse cursor seemed to be stuck on the bottom right corner and would not move into the DCS main screen. Clicking the mouse button would cause DCS music to stop and cursor would appear but when I tried to click on something like aircraft selection music would come back on and cursor would disappear again. Slept on the problem for a couple of nights and concluded that it must be something with the rift hand controllers which by the way I don't use and have disabled in the VR options and yes the use mouse option was on too. What I did was removed the batteries, re inserted them and re-paired the hand controllers, problem solved. Hope this helps someone with the same issue. ozdude Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Yes I tried that several times but no joy - actually it did nothing at all. Eaglewings Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 This happens frequently in my O+. I have found out when it happens, I would put on one of my controllers and use it temporarily. This will kind of wake up the mouse and I get it moving normally. The previous method of restarting dcs all over again was a quite burdensome Windows 10 Pro 64bit|Ryzen 5600 @3.8Ghz|EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra|Corair vengence 32G DDR4 @3200mhz|MSI B550|Thrustmaster Flightstick| Virpil CM3 Throttle| Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder Pedal /Samsung Odyssey Plus Headset
Mikey74 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 My Solution was, to put the Headset on before you start DCS. AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 64GB DDR5-6000 MHz, ASUS PRIME X670-P, Zotac RTX 3090, Varjo Aero
ozdude Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 I was doing that Mikey and it doesn't cause me that problem when doing so now. The reason I realized it came down to the controllers in my case is that if I quickly moved the mouse cursor I could see another dot underneath it, so in effect there was two cursor dots one on top of each other. flyer49 Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 I was having the same problem but resolved it in a different way. After removing the batteries from the controller the problem remained and what I did to resolve the issue was to go into VR and uncheck "use controllers" while "use mouse" stayed checked...problem solved..
