Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 (edited) Just that, I would love to have this effect for the Falcon, something like the one in the HB's Tomcat...the f16 also has lots of vibrations when flying fast, low, buffeting, dropping bombs, etc. I think this should be implemented in all modules but specially in the newer ones along with the proper wing flex. It adds a huge boost to inmersion and realism and is a quite useful sign of the energy state of the plane among other things. Here is a nice example of it in a 360 deg camera: Another one: Thanks! Deano87 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 It'll happen, i'm sure. They Hornet has it, the F-16 also has some interesting flutter regimes with certain payloads etc, which i'd like to see replicated. Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted June 20, 2019 Author Posted June 20, 2019 (edited) As far as I know the hornet does not have, in dcs, any kind of oscillation in the wings nor vertical fins (only flexion)...but would be great to have it implemented in the hornet too(it is even more noticeable in the f18 ) The video you posted looks like a resonance to me...Im refering to a more common buffeting induced surfaces oscillation, I guess more related with own turbulent air flowing through them. Only the tomcat has this implemented, again afaik. Edited June 21, 2019 by watermanpc Take a look at my MODS here
Deano87 Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Yes that’s a flutter state that the F-16 can get into in certain payload configurations combined with certain speeds etc. Apparently putting Aim-120 on the wing tips helps stop the phenomenon. It’s a consideration real F-16 pilots need to take into account so it would be cool to see in the sim. Agg Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Thumbs up! I'd also love to see some wing vibrations while taxing like in the F-5, it's quite noticeable in the Viper.
razo+r Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 It has to be included otherwise they won't set a new benchmark ;)
Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted June 23, 2019 Author Posted June 23, 2019 It has to be included otherwise they won't set a new benchmark ;) Agree :) ...especially when the tomcat already has this implemented. Hope Ed is finally willing to include this great effect! Take a look at my MODS here
Swift. Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Watermanpc, AFAIK tomcat doesn't have wing flutter, it has wing flex which is the same as most other modules in the game. 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2

Not sure if you are talking about some specific kind of vibration but if not you are wrong: This is what Im asking for! I think ED should also include this physics into all modules (at least the full fidelity ones) Take a look at my MODS here
