SharpeXB Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Does this function work? It gives me some odd directions. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
myHelljumper Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Last time I checked it worked fine, can you give us more info so we can help ? Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
Jowen G. Bruère-Dawson Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Tested last week, and it worked, but it was not under the latest open beta version.
SharpeXB Posted June 24, 2019 Author Posted June 24, 2019 Last time I checked it worked fine, can you give us more info so we can help ? I assume a common use for this would be to plot an extended runway centerline. Use the reciprocal direction ie for runway 21 enter 030 bearing and about 10 miles. Tried it once on Batumi and it seemed to be directing me way off course Maybe I did something wrong so I’m asking to see if it works at all before messing around more with it. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
cauldron Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Offsets are used for running a parallel to your Flightplan track, not for extending a track. Not sure why you would use offset to run an approach, easier and better ways of doing that.

Not sure why you would use offset to run an approach, easier and better ways of doing that. It’s just making a waypoint that’s a certain bearing and distance from a TACAN. Right? Offsets can be used for many things I suppose. iNS bombing in the M-2000C uses them. Bullseye calls etc. It should work for an approach if you fly to the offset and then turn to the runway heading. What else would you use a TACAN offset for? The Red Flag campaign has you use one for an approach hold position. Can you give us a track or a video ? Tracks are broken now anyways aren’t they? i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
33-DFTC Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 […]Tracks are broken now anyways aren’t they? I'm using tracks for creating content for almost a year and I did not have a single issue. I run stable release exclusively. There are only two types of aircraft, fighters and targets. - Major Doyle "Wahoo" Nicholson, USMC

You might want to try more than once. You could have mixed up ρ/θ for example, not activated VAD mode on IDN, misread informations...and so on. 1 try is a bit too early IMO to start thinking of a bug.
