ALT+B : not pause in SP, as in MP (we have pause for that...)

Hello guys,

I know it might sound kind of an annoying request... but I believe it's an easy and reasonable wish/fix...

I would ask from you to change that pressing ALT+B (briefing and maps window) would not pause the sim - as in multiplayer.

It unnecessary pauses the sim in single player, while we already have a PAUSE button for that if we wish, and also can press the ESCAPE button, so why is the ALT+B does that same thing as well??

Rational:

1.(My real reason...) Sometimes while in long flights for example, I wish to read the briefing again or watch the maps/frequencies etc.) and it needlessly pauses my sim for that.

It ruins immersion and just steals more time.

as said before - there is a dedicated pause button or escape button that can pause the game.

And should I choose to really pause and read - Today I can already press Pause, then press ALT+B for the briefing.

2. Stay as coherent as possible to Multiplayer ( I know I can't pause multiplayer anyway), where ALT+B does not pause it.

** Extra bonus wish:music_whistling: ..... be able to move the briefing window around ( I have 4 monitors and it's just stuck in the middle blocking my view when I have so much real estate to move it around...

But only stopping it from pausing the game would be enough...

Thank you very much!

Ron

+1 Definitely

Seems, not wrong, but not right to have 3 functions doing the same thing.

Maybe something like a kneeboard page for the briefing?

Drop the ALT+B pause

Bump...

Would appreciate any reply from ED's team, did you take note of it?... any reply would be nice...

I know it's not high priority, but it shouldn't be difficult to implement.

(small+easy fix) * (small+easy fix)... = MANY noticeable productive easy changes => happier customers/community :smilewink:

Thank you ED!

I've also requested this. The briefing window used to not pause the game, I preferred it that way as it was realistic.
