It wouldn't surprise me given how CPU bound DCS is if I only get 10% If I were you I would opt for a CPU upgrade, I think that would help you the most. I would have to disagree - my CPU is nowhere near fully utilised in DCS, whereas my GPU is fully maxed out at 40 fps in some high-density areas with my current settings. Generally sits around 75%. DCS still doesn't make full use of current CPU's - and the upgrade I can do without changing my mobo (and entire system from scratch - no thanks) is minimal, i7 7700K. The best upgrade I can do at the moment is a new GPU and possibly another 16GB of RAM. Vampire

I'm going to test at 4.0ghz next.. This is a shot from today - just updated my Bios and left everything on my CPU as stock settings. This is the AV8 Instant Action flight at Caucasus - which is always pretty heavy for me FPS-wise. What I notice now is although the peak fps is about the same when at 5ghz compared to 4.0 or 4.4, the FPS is more stable (higher average fps). And if you look at the GPU usage graph its smoother at 5ghz. The CPU looks to be running at 4.3ghz and the ram is at 2133 c15. I think the ram speed created the bottleneck in this test.
