FalcoGer Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Some time ago a bug was acknowledged that MSI symbology isn't displayed properly. As far as I gathered, the intended behavior was: - Ownship contacts are displayed as blocks regardless of DL status unless IFF interogated - DL only contracts are displayed as HAFU The bug was the contracts were displayed: - HAFU when DL and ownship contact - Nothing if not detected by own radar This was addressed as 'fixed' in some changelog a few weeks ago. For me this is still not working. At least not in MP. I have seen pictures of the radar page with MSI working though. I never got the RWR indications at the top of the screen either. I have MSI turned on in the fcr data page, and datalink enabled. Am I missing something here?
Harker Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 AFAIK, the MSI fixes you describe haven't made it into the game yet. The RWR arrows work though. Silly question, but is your RWR on and receiving? andyn Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Go to TAC->SA->SENSR and enable RWR in the top row. Also make sure your ALR is on (rightmost button just below the MPCD).
FalcoGer Posted July 25, 2019 Author Posted July 25, 2019 (edited) Yes, I forgot to turn on RWR on the SA page. If you do that, it shows on the radar as well. I wonder why it isn't on by default. Edited July 25, 2019 by FalcoGer
andyn Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 It used to be. Someone probably got their hands on proper documentation in between.
Jak525 Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 - Ownship contacts are displayed as blocks regardless of DL status unless IFF interogated? No, if a trackfile is both ownship and DL or just DL, then it's shown as a HAFU. Otherwise, the trackfile isn't shown and only the corresponding raw bricks are.
