Is it real that the TGP works in the MPCD and also shows in grey?

Which grey is. Just on the left and right DDI the screen is green and so its green.

 

I think the OP was asking if the real jet is capable of displaying it on the MPCD or not.

Heard a CF-18 pilot say they could in a YouTube interview. Whether or not the computer outputs it to grey rather than green on the AMPCD, I don't know.

It would be monochrome grey instead of monochrome green on the full color AMPCD

I am glad I was not imagining it, makes it far more ergonomic! The also look slightly larger as well?

CF188s have more updates than USN/USMC Hornets, except the new Hornets being upgraded for the USMC.
