Currently if you put a radio transmission in a trigger zone, the transmission seems to originate on the ground. This can cause line of sight problems if you want to simulate a transmission from an airborne asset (AWACS, perhaps). Is there a way in the Radio transmission dialog in the Mission Editor that we can specify an altitude in which the transmission takes place?

(I know we can make an aircraft do a radio transmission via a switched condition, but this is very cumbersome and time consuming to do, not to mention sometimes you'll have to place an AI aircraft in an area you don't want it to be)

The scripting function allows you to set it in 3d space, probably just a simplification on the editor side that it doesn't have altitude as an option. https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_func_radioTransmission

Good that it can be done with script, but one more input for altitude + AGL/MGL (with default AGL 0) would be indeed welcome. I have a tower on a non-prominent hill (in the area without any prominent hills) and the sound is clearly blocked even when I see most of the tower. This would help without the need for scripting.

Any more thought to adding an altitude setting for this? I would like to have radio transmissions so clients online must use the appropriate radio channels but terrain blocks the transmissions.
