Yet another Thrustmaster MFD export questions

Hi All,

 

I’ve just purchased a second set of Thrustmaster MFDs and I’d like to do what it seems like a lot of other people have: export the left and right DDIs of the F18 to a small 8” monitor that I’ve overlaid the MFDs on.

 

I’ve browsed a few of the forum posts and people seem to make it a relatively easy task. Is all I have to do modify a few lines of a lua file and that’s it?

 

Any help would be appreciated!

I have ordered 2 7" LCD-Screens, which should fit the MFDs frame better, afaik.

Would also be very interested in any advice, other people could give :thumbup:

I export 3 mfds over a second monitor.

 

on top of that monitor I have place a piece of transparent Plexiglas, on wich I have double face taped the MFDs.

I just installed my first LCD on one of my cougar MFD and imported the view. Man, its awesome. I wish I've done it years ago.

yes, you have to modify this file :

 

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup

 

and then the file of your chosing

does this work for all modules with mfd's? Or do you have to make a different monitor config for each module

Hey all just to update, I have a working 2 monitor 2 mfd profile now working.

A10 and F-16 work great but no joy for AV8BNA. Do I have to make a different monitor config lua for it?

edit: never mind "search" is still a wonderful forum tool ;)
