4c Hajduk Veljko Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I can't find the mode, checked the manual as well, doesn't explain how to get it up :( Flaming Cliffs manual, page 87, bottom half of the page. Take a look at the figure 3-35 on page 88 as well. FS manual is cool, among the best ever! S77th-GOYA Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 default keys are "alt-W", when your radar is active with the key "I" I think it's Alt-I. I've had it on my joystick for a long time though. Alt-W is launch override, I think.

cool_t Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Using TWS A good pilot will use TWS inorder to gain the advantage over multiple threats. TWS will "Paint" your targets and not load them up with radar so the bad guys cant tell where your transmision is comming from. In LOMAC 1.1, my F-15 in TWS could kill 4 targets at 25nm, with no problems. Now its a bit more tricky you will need to out fly your Bandits, push, pull, and drag them into a death match from which there is no second place. Lock up or "Paint" 4 targets now good luck hitting one of them even at 10nm. TWS is more of a deturant than a tactical means of engagement. :book:
Geier Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 The greatest disadvantage of TWS mode is breaking the lock when the target uses the ECM blinking:(
