F6 cam should delay longer before going back to cockpit to allow time for cluster bombs to hit target.

Or have timer start when they hit target rather than when they are released from canister.

IIRC (and it's a fairly big if) pressing F6 after dispersion will take you to the centre of the bomblet 'formation' (idk what you'd call it)

 

I'll quickly test and get back to you

 

EDIT: Yes this works, I tested with BK-90, BL755, CBU-87, CBU-99, Mk20, RBK-250 and RBK-500 I think it's safe to say that so long as the bomblets are actually modelled this'll work (which probably extends to all of them now).

 

So initially the F6 camera tracks the 'main' bomb body as we all know, once dispersion happens, F6 camera stays in place and doesn't follow the bomblets as the OP describes, however, if you press F6 shortly after dispersion, the camera will follow the bomblets, it doesn't track individual bomblet but like the average/central position in the formation of bomblets, allowing you to follow them down right until impact.
