Greyman Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Sorry if this one has already been posted, maybe in the DCS bugs thread, and i'd be surprised if it hasn't, but i couldn't find it. Having landed on the John Stennis and parked up, i noticed that the aircraft on deck were casting a shadow on the deck, as you'd expect, but also on the ocean surface, which you wouldn't expect. I've attached an image which will perhaps illustrate this better than i have explained it.
razo+r Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Have you tried putting the water settings a bit higher?

Greyman Posted September 11, 2019 Author Posted September 11, 2019 I have now thanks, i moved it from low to medium, and all appears to be as it should. I guess I'll need to avoid "low quality water" in future. :) thanks again. Edit: I have Shadows set to low also @BIGNEWY
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 11, 2019 ED Team Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) Thanks for letting us know you would have seen this with terrain shadows off.
