Is there a way to adjust the position of the JHMCS off the center of the screen?

I noticed not long ago that you can adjust the actual height of the helmet sight in the Kamov 50 so you can place the cross higher in the screen (and more confortable to aim) and I'd like to do the same in the Hornet if possible.

Is there a way to modify this? will be in the future?

Thanks!

No, the best you can do is adjust the position of the horizon by changing the default snap view so it lines up with HMCS cursor.

AFAIK, in the real aircraft the HMCS is pilot adjustable and done each flight.

Within the HMD sub system (available on DDI/AMPCD), there are settings for adjustment but are currently not enabled/coded (brightness, blink, centering, etc.) - although seems like something they are at least planning on implementing at some point. I say that as it would seem silly to bother putting that in without a plan of completing the logic with the module.

I sure hope they do it soon. Getting really tired of trying modify TIR5 to overcome that the JHMCS targeting circle is very much lower than the targeting circle in the hud.
