To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Should be making a long series of sea trials this fall. The first U-214, "NRP TRIDENTE" was delivered early this month as reported on previous pages. :)

Don't you think that would be class 212? I'm sure the Germans keep some aces for their own sleeves only :)

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Come let's eat grandpa!

whell the U-212's fulfill different requirments. Specifically germans requirments, including treaties limitations. These are coastal shallow watter vessels while the U-214's are oceanic deepwater vessels. Of the 2 only the 214 can fire cruise missiles at the moment (the germans will incorporate the IRIS-T missile for counter attack surveilance aircraft but for the 214 that need is remote at best).

Libyan mig-23 crash; what do you guys think?

[YOUTUBE]0FY9XcJrKTk&feature=related[YOUTUBE]

Important detail - control surfaces deflection in the roll channel

Maneuver entry at 0:36 - left

at 0:39 - right

So we could at least establish the controls were not stuck and most probably fully functional.

Nice

I don't think it is a new incident, the ground crew is wearing old DCU uniforms. I just stumble into it while looking for aircraft photos
