A fiery fragment flies through the air as the 780th Test Squadron detonates an AIM-120 warhead to determine the necessary parking distance for F-22s in the event of an explosion. To accomplish the test, the squadron placed other live AIM-120 and AIM-9s on nearby stands to determine if they would withstand an explosion. The testers concluded no chain reaction would take place and F-22s parking distance could be reduced. (Courtesy photo)

^^^ The ants from Old Formicaries Union have decided to exterminate once and for all the ants on the island of North Antia and take their lands. Unfortunately the test of the new ICBM Bulantava was unsuccessful and showed some problems with the first stage. The strange circles formed in the sky by the rocket exhaust trail caused some panic in North Antia and were at first taken for UFO. It became clear though that this was just an unsuccessful test launch of Bulantava, as North Antia`s forward observer submarine U-571 "Sneaky Underwateria" was closely monitoring the tests and reported the good news shortly after the event took place. The new missile shield "Antegis" that`s currently in development remains the only hope for the north antians in stopping the aggression from OFU. The armament race is constant and only the future will reveal if the missile shield will live up to the expectations and provide the much needed protection from ICBMs. We will keep you informed about the latest developments in this seemingly inevitable military conflict. Stay tuned.
