Topol I was wondering who'd guess that was a render! it's a HQ job though!. Well spotted!.

It`s a great picture that instantly went to my desktop as a wallpaper. :)

OMG this guy is the King of trolls. Look more carefully at the pictures top-down/side/front - 1. you either will SEE the difference, or 2. you will not see it cause you don`t want to see it, or 3. you won`t see it cause all modern fighters look alike

Being an engineer I know what I'm talking about, but thank's for worrying about me.

You obviously don`t know what you are talking about, or you`d have seen that it looks more like F-22 than like Su/Mig family. And the last part in your previous post shows such ignorance that it should not even be commented.

I'm giving bad reps now for big file uploads.

You may not like it, but many make wallpapers out of these, so please, KEEP THE BIG ONES COMING!

I have a "Wallpapers" folder my computer with over 170 images, most downloaded from this thread.

This is the Photos/Videos thread, and the better the quality of the pic, the more we like it.

I'll start giving good reps to big file uploads then :D

^^^ You can still get them. If the photo is posted as Thumbnail you can still see the big picture when you click on it. These are used for threads with a lot of pictures cause when a lot of large ones are posted sometimes they open very slowly. Though in this thread it`s not very common to post thumbnails, don`t know why. Nice idea with the positive rep though :)

So you should use Imageshack like topol-m! :)

( Note: but he does it only in Neverending contest thread.. ) ;)

Maybe you got me wrong, or wanted to get me wrong.

Here's a try to let you know what I ment

That the point I identify on both designs.

It's clear that the T-50 is a new design, but it adopts several traditional designs from su-27, f.f.

Other things have clearly changed, like unswept rudders to swept ones, internal weapon bays, a.s.o.

Maybe you understand me now

^^^ Now that explanation is more acceptable than just saying it`s slightly altered Su-27. ;) Yes it has some details from Su-27, but there are others completely different - wings shape and position close to F-22`s, nose and front hull more close to YF-23`s, much wider fuselage, intakes shape - closer to F-22`s, more space between engines, less distance intakes to nozzles, possible slight S-shape inlets (in top-down aspect http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=827959&postcount=1327), vertical fins - much smaller than Su-27`s, inclined and bigger space between them (the whole fin is moving like YF-23`s V-tail), etc. Basically the similarities are limited to nozzles, elevators and 2nd intakes (I don`t agree that the engines hull is similar, especially in side view).

The design is the same like MiG-29 or Su-27 Design.

Just everything is a bit more rectangle.

I also do see the resemblance to previous Sukhois in the general layout, however it's still clear that it's not just rectangular skin pieces bolted on to a Su-27. The design is clearly much more complex. You don't need an engineer to see that. You could also say that F-15 and F-22 have the same layout. I'm also happy that it has the layout closer to Su-27 than F-22, as it is a Sukhoi design after all. Also some of the design similarities could be simply because it's still a prototype and they have put old proven designs on it for now (we can only speculate).

What a crap copy of stealth technology. Will show like a big dustbin on radar, while other stealth designs will be smaller.

So you are an engineer, a stealth engineer? I'm not expecting it to beat western designs in stealth but it's way too early to say how it will look like on a radar. You don't just copy a stealth design. It's much more complicated than just the basic shapes. What you see outside is just one part of a stealth design. You think Sukhoi engineers just sat all these years looking at Raptor photos? The design is still so much different to be just a copy.

I don't even know why I'm answering to such post.
