I've been in there a few times and I'm 6'2" 195lbs. Once you get in it's ok, there is a lot of room actually. Every year at Luke we had a extraction exercise and we had to pull a 150-200lb dummy out of a training we had, that was fun for the young pups. A D-model you could only get half your body in there. I hated changing cells!

What are you talking about that is the IWC; that configuration is used only on emergency situations :lol:

Another jet came to see us last night, it's a Singapore jet and we helped them out.

:smartass::D Probably telling Crew Chief to change the external tank even tho it's not the problem

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

They punched a rivet through the wing and it was full of fuel :helpsmilie:. So we helped them drain it cause it was making a mess all over our nice hangar floor :D. They are here TDY doing a green flag I believe, they leave this week. Lol @ mvsgas, 90% of the tanks we got back at Luke that was suppose to have a problem....didn't, we CND them.

Just giving you a hard time Cali :D

I know you must be to busy with bubbles to work on the Jet.

I love engineering bridges at work.

I know, bubbles are fun to play with. They did everything, we just supplied a few buckets and other equipment to them.

Found it a bit funny that a B52 needs external pylons for bombs.

Carry em if you have space for em. They used to hang 6 AGM-86 ALCM missiles on each wing, plus 8 in a rotary in the bomb bay.

Believe it or not there was once a concept to use 747s as a weapons platform to deliver the ALCMs.
