Juancio Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I know this is probable WIP, but the turbine blades at the back of the engine are not animated. The easiest way to check this it is to turn shadows off and look into the engine exhaust, behind the afterburner combustion rings. Thank you.

In real life you will not see the turbine blades rotation at all.
Juancio Posted October 6, 2019 Author Posted October 6, 2019 In real life you will not see the turbine blades rotation at all. In real life you wouldn't have any external views when flying the plane. Besides, NineLine already acknowledged the problem so what's your point? The fans at the back of the engine, turbine blades, compressor blades, call them whatever you like, they should rotate, check the F15, Su27, Mig29, they are all properly animated.

Stand behind a Viper (you actually can IRL) and look in the exhaust, you will not see moving parts. But hey..no discussions here.

Hey Bouli, if you look closely at the start of the vid, you can see the turbine back in there, spinning faster and faster as the engine spools up.

Okay you win. The first 2 or 3 seconds you can actually see them turning thereafter you see nothing anymore. Bouli out
