Do as you wish... Just you will miss some parameters that make the Sim run smoother that all .. In your setting in sim make sure you have your global texture to high or at max also make sure you have trilinear , aniso or bilinear selected and not "none", Uncheck Bloom light ( FPS killer ).

There more to do to your FSX.cfg to run well since you are running ATI :(

I got it installed on WinXP Pro with no issues. In this order.

FSX

1st SP

Acceleration

Acceleration installed without a problem on DX9 and looks great, no need to have DX10 to install the Acceleration Pack.

I got another question though:

I was thinking of buying that AerialFoundry F/A-18 Blue Angels pack, but it says it is for FS2002 and FS2004. I wanted to know if anyone has it and has tried it on FSX. Any issues or problems? I just wanted to know if it works, and/or if there is a patch or fix, because I really wanted to have the Blue Angel version in FSX if possible.

I guess I could always go back to FS2004, but it would be nice to know if it works on FSX.

Thank-you, but does anyone know if the Blue Angel Pack by AerialFoundry works with FSX?

Acceleration Hornet already comes with the entire Blue Angels skins.

Well, this "Tiger Meet" paint scheme has never been applied to a dual-seat CF-18, it was painted to airframe 188720. As this number indicates, it belongs to a single seater. (Duals have 1889xx) Oh my, CaptainSim...

I still have to see other developers besides the folks from ED who do their homework seriously!
