Raised_Dead85 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Since i have a computer with blazing speed, i decided to start making some movies for this community. I tried with with old pc and it was crazyly slow when using the Fraps program, and Lock On track recording. My question to you guys that have the movie making experience, in which programs i cant get to easily record, edit, and have best camera abilities. Any suggestions are welcomed :) :) :)! |Windows 8 64bit|I7-950| |X58Mobo| |1T HDD| |18gigs PC3-16000 TC 2000mhz||Nvidia GTX 660 Ti Graphics||Cougar HOTAS-CHPedals/TIR5ProClip|

DPS Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 If you just want to make a quick movie just use Windows Movie Maker. If you're going to post on YouTube no one will notice the difference - and it's free. DPS.

Aeroscout Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Windows movie maker actually works very well for me. (just basic editing. i don't like all the crazy effects too much) The in-game recording is a pain. Don't use it. Use fraps instead. DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
Raised_Dead85 Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 Okay guys thanks. I what about sound mods? Is there such thing? I know when you view fly by in LOMAC it dont sound right. And some extra sounds of explosions would be awsome. OH BTW: I got my COUGAR HOTAS today :):):) |Windows 8 64bit|I7-950| |X58Mobo| |1T HDD| |18gigs PC3-16000 TC 2000mhz||Nvidia GTX 660 Ti Graphics||Cougar HOTAS-CHPedals/TIR5ProClip|
ED Team Glowing_Amraam Posted October 24, 2007 ED Team Posted October 24, 2007 I think you can get some sound mods over at www.lockonfiles.com Some of the sounds are great to use in movies, but not if you want more "movie like" sounds (fly-by, explosion, engines, guns etc...) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgJRhtnqA-67pKmQ3A2GsgA ED youtube channel https://www.facebook.com/glowingamraam My facebook page
