mattag08 Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 It would be nice if the F10 map could function as a bullseye reference (spider) card. Currently players must make and print their own card or have a second monitor, which excludes VR users from being able to use a spider card. All that is needed is to add another icon next to the two current grids (MGRS and Lat/Long) that is shaped like a spider web. When activated it would show concentric rings of range outward from the bullseye (preferably based on map zoom level, but as close to 10 NM as possible) and bearing lines every 10°. An image is attached to show the typical layout and information depicted. This function would allow aircraft that don't have a digital display capable of indicating bullseye to still quickly (and realistically) use bullseye format AIC and friendly fighter information during multiplayer, with very minimal development effort. ApoNOOB Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 I have dearly missed this when doing CA GCI, but generally, having this (even without reference to bullseye specifically), would be a huge help in many situations. If for example, you could place that on any place in DCS map, or stick it to your own aircraft, that could be very useful.
=475FG= Dawger Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 (edited) @NineLine With the new drawing capability, can we get the BULLSEYE graphic as an available Icon for overlay on the bullseye location? One for Nautical Miles and the other for Kilometers. Ideally, this would be built in to the bullseye and available to show visibility as the other drawing objects are (by coalition, author or not visible. Edited November 3, 2021 by =475FG= Dawger
