I don´t think they need 10 people for 3 weeks for that.

I think there is some weird ground interface reason for why its elevated like that. Someone explained it to me once. Something to do with placing it on uneven ground or some other thing.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

road bases for the harrier

Check out the "road base" mission in the harrier training. I think you can do it like the viggen now. I just think most online server owners are not doing it for some reason or another (probably the big green slab is easier).

It's so it doesn't sink into the ground if you put it on a slope, or a crest or so on. The model stays level no matter what, it doesn't snap to the ground other than taking height data.

This is exactly the reason it is designed like it is, to work on un-even ground correctly

Yep - there's no reason for it though, I've landed helicopters on all sorts of odd bits of terrain & not had them immediately roll away down a hillside. The limitation is something to do with the aircraft having to actually be in contact with the FARP, I am guessing - which there's also no need for, you can just replace that by a combination "in trigger zone and on ground" test.

There is no mission named "Road Base", all I can find is the Mission 08 FOB Operations, but the road Base in this mission isn't operable and only for the show.

We need realy FARPS without hills and other constructions on the ground, a simple zone or maybe steelplates, with the function for rearm and refuel if the support trucks or the support buildings are there.

Edit: ad least we need for the single pads an ATC name in the F5 ATC Menu and not only ...
