Is there a way to export keymaps? I'm going to be rebuilding my PC this weekend and wanted to try to keep my current DCS keybindings.

Thank you,

You can backup your config file within your game save folder for dcs and copy/paste it to the save game folder that your new install will create.

Windows 10 Pro 64bit|Ryzen 5600 @3.8Ghz|EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra|Corair vengence 32G DDR4 @3200mhz|MSI B550|Thrustmaster Flightstick| Virpil CM3 Throttle| Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder Pedal /Samsung Odyssey Plus Headset

Within DCS -> Options -> Controls there is a "Save Profile" button ... the only problem is that you have to do one save for each Category (column: Keyboard, Hotas, etc) and for each aircraft ... so it isnt very practical.

I prefer just to backup the whole /Saved Games/DCS/ folder and after restoring it on the new PC, rename the Hotas files as needed (the names are hardware specific, so they change when you change the PC)

For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra

For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar

Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Yup either of the above 2 suggestions will work.

First I'd always recommend making a backup of the saved games DCS folder somewhere else, if I lost mine it would take me months to renew all the settings

Your problem is going to be if the hardware addresses for the devices get new addresses from Windows (cannot remember the correct terminology)

For each device in each module there will be an address it's the alphanumeric inside the curly brackets. That will require to be changed to the new address Windows gives that device. You can find the new address by going into DCS and looking at the new defaults that DCS has assigned to your devices. The same will hold true for the keyboard if you have changed or added to that too

Bit of a faff but a dammed site faster than having to make new profiles for each device for every module

Hope the picture makes sense

I copied the whole input folder, editing modifiers.lua with the new ID, and renaming all hotas files according to the new IDs. One thing I surprised me (for good) was that copying the whole DCS folder + Saved Games folder to the new installation worked flawlessly. I only needed to deactivate A-10, BS2 and FC3 and reactivate in the new installation.
