When you sit in the instructor seat at a proper time (engine starting or prior)

in the back seat engine RPM is around zero, engine virtually not running in the whole simulation in the back seat views.

had similar problems in MP, engine on one seat after hand over was then OFF (really off, not delivering thrust, aircraft going down ... ), and when taking over again I had full control over the engine ...
