[MISSING TRACK FILE] Is there a bug with laser guided bombs?

I am sorry if anyone has already reported but I can’t find it here or on reddit. But for some reason I can’t get laser guides bombs to track the laser anymore.

Yes, all have the same laser codes; 1688 for bombs and flir. Bombs set to auto, mfuz off, efuz inst trigger selected on flir screen, laser switch low right set in forward position. Pull trigger on stick and it goes from arm to tl/dr. I watched Wag’s video on it twice. Get the release que, bomb releases but does not track.

I must be missing something. While trying to figure it out I stumbled another question. I find my first target, do everything and get the bomb line. Find another target, switch to point track, then depress right but never get the bomb line again.

Sorry if this is something obvious.

;4116118']GBU-24 doesn't work in DCS on any aircraft.

So if that's what you're trying to drop, that's why it isn't working. I've never had any issues with the other LGBs in game.

Ok but I was using GBU12

Recording the repack, never done it before. I know I can save the track after the mission, can I edit it to shorten it to the appropriate parts?

No. If you can, make a quick mission, drop a bomb, exit and save the track.

ok I just the mission twice and attached the track files.

something I noticed on the first flight that the HUD did not show AUTO, so I thought I did not select the mode correctly. I saw this a few miles out from the target. I reselected Auto several times. When I find my target I use TDC right to point track even if the targets don't move. I saw in Wags video he states to use TDC depress and that is when the auto solution is shown. Also, notice after my flights watching his video again that his HUD shows CCIP before he uses TDC depress. When I press TDC depress nothing happens.

As you can see in the screenshot I have the depress modeled on the F18 grip and when clicking it in the controls screen it goes to the right line.

As I thought I screwed up the mode selection on the first flight I did it again and with the same results. I have successfully used laser-guided bombs before.

Is any of the following true?

1. You were more than 8 NM slant range away from the target - in DCS, the maximum slant range the laser can reach is 8 NM. Further than that, the laser point is floating in mid-air.

2. Due to your plane's movement, the laser might have been not visible from the bomb's seeker (i.e. you drop the bomb, the bomb is approaching from the east, but you end up lasing the west side of the building/vehicle)

Mind you, I've also had GBU-12s go weird on me for seemingly no reason, I'm just trying to narrow it down.

Ok

In 1 yes it was at times.

Again i got the lgbs to work. Whats weird this time is we had someone buddy lasing and the 12s *literally acted like amraams. They went like bombs, and then pulled up (the island chain thats like south of Kerman west of qeshm abt 200 miles. This happened 2x. Hed lase and wed drop 5 miles tops.

The slant range thing definitiely you dont get a bomb line unless u keep squirting the target.

Also i noticed if you ock the rarget" instead of just cross hairs itll start moving (cam) if u start moving. I almost lost a lgb that way but slew the crosshaird back

Im REEAAALLLY having issues entering wps and getting it right.

Anyone?
