I’m new to this hotas bought it used and tried to set it up today. I first started target but it didn’t show up in it. Next I started dcs and the stick and throttle work fine there I go into f-16 and the throttle doesn’t work until the sim throttle is moved to the 20% mark then it works. But the buttons were not configured neither did the ant elv wheel work.

Ok guys why didn’t target recognize the cougar?

I downloaded the cougar f16 profile from dcs link how do I load it so I don’t have to manually configure each switch and button there are way to many do I load it thru target or directly into the dcs through the config profiles?

Are you sure that the profile you downloaded is meant for Target? Perhaps it is meant for Foxy, the predecessor of Target.

If it is indeed for Foxy, then here is a guide I wrote that shows how to install the software: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181049

Hi

I am new to Cougar world too, and had a lot of issues with that on Win10.

I suggest you to check your calibration on the Cougar Control Panel. Check your axis traveling and center position on auto calibration. If auto calibration is not working well, switch to manua calibration.

After that, try your cougar "clean" on DCS... I mean don't load a TARGET profile at all. If your Cougar is working fine (axis & buttons), It could be the right time to go with TARGET.

ps: I am not using TARGET on my Cougar.

Where do I find the cougar control panel

Did you took a look at the guide I posted earlier? The CCP is part of the Cougar drivers.

Ok I went in to the dcs control section and removed the space keyboard key from the default setting then tried to run the startup training mission for the viper still nothing happens. What can I do to get these missions that use spacebar to continue to work and not sit there doing nothing.
