Pressure set to 30.11 at Kobuleti, and dialed in to aircraft.

In the hornet the altimeter reads 60 (as it should)

In the viper the altimeter reads 0

Pretty sure the analog altimeter is not properly calibrated.

Definitely sure the pressure setting is not talking to the air data computer -> HUD.

Hi

Do you have any data to support that?

We would like to see a track replay showing this issue

thanks

+++1 Same since the first release, i thought this bug was known and reported?! The HUD displays wrong informations and Altimeter seems to be incorrect to (QNH or QFE is not matching with VAC cards and weather most of times).

So here's my findings on this...

1) Standard Day Hot Start @ Nellis NW EOR @ 1869' MSL

- Analog Altimeter and HUD display the same value of 1870' @ 29.92"

(close enough for government work)

2) Standard Day Cold Start @ Nellis NW EOR @ 1869' @ 29.92"

- Analog Altimeter wakes up showing 1810'

- HUD Displays 1870'

2) Non-standard Day Cold Start @ Nellis NW EOR @ 1869'

("Summer Clouds And Wind .. Pressure reported as 29.72")

With the Kollsman Window showing 29.72":

- Analog Altimeter reports 1740'

- HUD displays 1980'

And at no time does changing the pressure in the Kollsman Window of the analog altimeter change the altitude displayed in the HUD.

Same for me.

At Creech AB.

QNH 29.99 - Field elevation 3126ft

Altimeter set to 29.99 in elec mode shows 2980ft, in pneu mode 2920ft.

HUD indicates 2920ft.

The INS is set to the correct elevation when starting the alignment.

One more track with a couple of tests on Nalchik, elevation 1411 ft QNH 29.92 default.

Hot start on parking:

- HUD isn't matching with the elec/pneu alimeter

- To reach 1411 ft I need to change alti to 29.99

Cold start on parking:

- HUD isn't matching with the elec/pneu alimeter

- to reach 1411 ft, 30.01 is needed with pneumatic

- to reach 1411 ft, 29.94 is needed with electric

The HUD is displaying 1400 every time and not displaying another value when you change altimeter settings

Note that sometimes on other airbaises with other conditions you need to change brutally the altimeter to reach the correct QNH, this test was very soft.

[NEED TRACK REPLAY]Altimeter setting error

I discovered this too just today. HUD seems to always display pressure altitude no matter what setting is set on the analog altimeter.

Example: air pressure at 29.53

At spawn, altimeter is already set to 29.92 and reads approx 400’. When set to match 29.53 the analog altimeter moves down to match airport elevation of approx 50’, but the HUD still says 400’. The whole flight the HUD indicated 350’ higher than analog altimeter.
