USAF-Falcon87 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Since the new update that deleted "Steerpoint 0", there no longer seems to be a line from your origin to the first waypoint on the HSD. Is this by design, a bug, or something I'm just doing wrong? Thanks, Ric
Harker Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 It's correct, I believe. You should put Steerpoint 1 on the runway or your starting position. Emmy Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 In our group, I think just leaving WP 1 blank (and let it just be the Initial Point) is going to probably become SOP and just start every flightplan on WP 2. USAF-Falcon87 Posted December 4, 2019 Author Posted December 4, 2019 F16s don't have STP 0. Yeah, I realize that. That's why they got rid of it in the sim. Doesn't do anything to answer the question, though.

That would certainly work, but it just seems a bit clunky to do it that way. Curious how it works in the actual jet--no line to first point? Seems odd that the first point is just hanging out in space on the HSD.

Is this by design, a bug, or something I'm just doing wrong? Thanks, Ric To answer your question, your origin should be the first waypoint (SP1)....so no you won't get a line. So the way it is displayed seems to be a bug at the moment. ED prob just need to amend this for the Viper so your first WP in the ME is SP1 (your origin). Vampire

Well, you’re probably going to fly a published instrument departure or some standard visual departure which would take you to that point anyways.
