Marky146 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Anyone else had an issue where mouse appears on screen but nothing is clickable? When I come out of game to start task manager, a click in the window and return to game it works properly. Then again when I go to fly a mission, the mouse has stopped working? Same fix works each time. This is on a fully updated system, Logitech wireless mouse on my high spec laptop. At a loss to figure it out. Clevo P775TM1-G laptop with 9900K and RTX2080. maxTRX Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 In VR (rift) it happens sometimes when I move the cursor too far down and right click on some switch the cursor gets outside of "window" in spite of the full screen option being checked and "Cursor confined to game window" also selected. When I peek at the screen I see the task bar open. I just click back on the VR "window". There is a good chance I haven't configured my VR properly or whatever...
Marky146 Posted December 7, 2019 Author Posted December 7, 2019 I’m trying the Viper and not using VR at present. Clevo P775TM1-G laptop with 9900K and RTX2080. Airliner pilot by day and keen simmer on days off. Mark.
Bagpipe Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 I was having a number of serious issues until i rebuilt the saved games folder and updated windows 10. Not sure which one did the trick but DCS is performing up to 20% better in terms of FPS and not had any more errors since. I have a feeling it was the windows update to be honest, could be wrong though
BitMaster Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 That is a FullScreen-BorderlessWindowed-FOCUS issue. I used to be plagued by it in the past as well. IIRC ALT-TABbing solved it to regain focus/active_window back to the app, in this case DCS. Marky146 Posted December 8, 2019 Author Posted December 8, 2019 Thanks. Next time I get on I’ll try to see if that sorts anything. Clevo P775TM1-G laptop with 9900K and RTX2080. Airliner pilot by day and keen simmer on days off. Mark.
