GGTharos Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 False positive. It is rather unlikely there is any virus in the download. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

Kuky Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 hm, I don't understand either how download from ED's official web can have a virus... I think too that possibly that virus scan is thinking there's some virus in the exe when there isn't or... somehow you already had some virus and it spread? Can this happen at all? Joe Kurr Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Jabs, I've searched a bit and found these pages, which might be helpful: http://www.avast.com/eng/win32-virut.html http://www.grisoft.com/doc/virbase/us/crp/0?nam=Win32%2FVirut Please download the latest virus definitions and run a complete scan, and see if you have any other files which are infected by this virus. If you have this virus on your computer, it may be infecting the files while you are installing them. Please let us know the result of the scan, so we can help you further. jabs Posted November 23, 2007 Author Posted November 23, 2007 During downloading this last starts me alarm. I have scanner my hd and it finds it on the file of FC. A compatriot had the same worry on a French forum he has cut his av. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.histoire-simulation.org/
Tez Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 We are using Dr. Web antivirus here. It doesn't find any viruses in lockon.exe. But Avast does find. Only in executable protected with StarForce ProActive. Executable with StarForce Professional is "ok" to Avast. I wrote to Avast already. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] =653=Tez
ED Team Groove Posted November 27, 2007 ED Team Posted November 27, 2007 Strange my post doesnt show here but i tested and replied yesterday that NOD32 from www.eset.com dont find any virus. But good to ged a confirmation from you Tez! Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
