davebert Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Can I use a mission I created in the stable version and open and re-save it in the beta versions mission editor and run it with the beta version?? Just wanting to run a mission I created in the stable version. Thanks
feefifofum Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Hi davebert; no issue moving forwards in version at all. In most cases you do not need to re-save unless it's something truly ancient. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
davebert Posted December 20, 2019 Author Posted December 20, 2019 Thanks. It seems to me I asked this same question once before and was told missions made in the stable version would not run in the beta version. This is great news that it can as some missions take a long time to make and we all started out using the stable version then switched to the beta.
H60MTI Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Big old bump with this... This still true? I have a mission I created under stable that took awhile to create. Can I move it over to Beta with no issues? Former SSG US Army UH-60A/L/M Crewchief "2 To Fly!"

You can only see issues (sometimes) on the other way around, playing on stable a mission created on open beta .. it happens when the mission editor has been updated and its file format changed, so that the older stable editor can’t load the file created with the newer version. cfrag Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 In any event, simply save the edited version with a slightly different name, or simply copy the old file and paste it into the same folder to create a quick back-up. Never do anything without a backup. That's my mother's motto. It created some irritation with my father when they were about to marry, but that was his problem
