[FIXED] Unlimited Ammo Not Working

The Unlimited Ammo option doesn't work.

In what way. It has been mentioned before and will be tweaked so it works easier(can’t find thread where it was confirmed but a dev did comment that SMS would be changed when unlimited ammo is selected to work in right config) but right now you can get around the SMS having the configuration wrong by pressing the OSB called LOAD and selecting the station and weapon.

 

You can even select up to 99 in QTY so that you won’t run out, but this has to be done on the SMS page in the cockpit while flying. Once you have it re loaded through SMS and 99 QTY it will let you fire it 99 times. The unlimited ammo option reloads the weapons but the pilot(right now atleast) has to change the SMS config to atleast match.

 

Was just teaching a friend and we got off dozens of C-802s with unlimited ammo. You just have to turn them on and wait for them ARM in between firing

Wow, just found this thread, glad I did a search as this is the question I have at the moment. When I checked Unlimited Ammo it did as you said, the config showed no weapons but on F2 I could see them. I will try this method tomorrow to see if it still applies, I would think so as the same issue exists for me now. Salute sir.

Gun rounds too, up to 999. But unlimit the gun last as I think it messes with the 99 input field for the other stores.
