10 days into flight sim and i am already thinking of getting rid of the 16000m and get a worthog stick instead. I only fly the Viper. i will keep the 16000m throttle and pedals though.

Does it worth the extra $$$? i mean, i think that the 16000M has pretty good electronics too right?

I had the Saitek X52 before but got me the 16000M throttle and the warthog flightstick. The generic buttons and switches on the X52 got boring and this two combination are doing very well for all the modules I have.

You can get the warthog stick alone.

Plan is to get the warthog throttle some days but very okay with my setup now.

I had a Saitek X55 before and switched to the TM Warthog HOTAS when the Hornet launched early access. I´ve never looked back, nor regret it. The TM Warthog is definately worth it´s money, i´d buy it again any day. Just be aware that it´s not perfekt. The gimbal i.e. is made from plastic and needs regular greasing to avoid sticktion. The base has to be disassembled for that, but there are good tutorials on YT on that topic. If you´re going to stay with DCS/Flight Sims and the WH fits your budget, go get it!

Electronics is not what you have to worry about. The real big diference between 16000m and Warthog stick is the feeling and handiness. The 16000M is a lightweight plastic joystick, very easy to manipulate. Warthog stick is an other world : heavy metal joystick, which really require streng to manipulate. A 8 years old can use a 16000M, it will have some trouble manipulating the Warthog.

If you can't get Warthog stick as 2nd hand, I would go for the Virpil if you want the Thrustmaster compatibility. There is a VKB, but that gets more expensive depending where you live.
