During cold start in MP I was unable to connect ground power.

After engine start and having the rotor spooled up successfully, the ground crew didn't respond to my request for disconnecting it. Also, the EXTERNAL POWER indication on the warning panel kept illuminated amber.

Solution is the following: Calling the ground crew before engine start is possible with \ key, but after engine start one has to use the ICS ptt.

No idea why the hell ...

Yep.

Would have been nice if it there was a hint in the procedures in the section engine start of the manual, e.g. "use ICS due to noisy environment".

Would have saved me headache and anger and not loosing one hour of time.

That's actually true for many (most?) aircraft in DCS, that you have to use ICS when the engines are running and/or the cockpit is closed.

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
