cthulhu68
If you have any mods installed disable them and try repair again. Troubleshooter also says error pops up if youre not running DCS as admin . Check that

Hueyman
Hi BIGNEWY, Ok thanks. Disabled antivirus already. Also tried to delete that file manually.. no luck so far. If I do cleanup and repair, will I have to re-assign all controls and lose all stats, campaings etc ? Cheers, Hueyman [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] CPL(A)IR ME/SEP/MEP/SET - CPL(H)

Cleanup and repair only touches the install location always make a backup just in case :) Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Hueyman
Okay, tried everything, nothing worked ;( Made a clean up, it asked me to save or delete all extra files ( which were mainly modules aircraft files ) So just said to save them in a backup folder. After completion I ran the repair command line and it still crashed at the same moment with that " computecompose.fx " apparently missing folder. Cheers, Hueyman. Ruthless7-17
I know it's an annoyingly simple suggestion but I was having this issue too (how I ended up here) but restarting my PC actually seemed to work.
