Hippo Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) As per post title, I'd be grateful if this could be considered. Thanks. (In case it's not entirely obvious, for those who depend on the kneeboard (esp. in VR), it would be nice to be able pause the sim and navigate through kneeboard pages at the same time.) Rudel_chw Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Use "Active Pause", rather than "Pause". Hippo Posted January 6, 2020 Author Posted January 6, 2020 Use "Active Pause", rather than "Pause". Thank you for the suggestion. I was aware of this possibility, but it was having the functionality during "full" pause that I was after, and restate my request that it kindly be considered. Thanks. Hippo Posted January 6, 2020 Author Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) Whilst I'm here, I just thought I'd mention that I noticed that turning off the OBOGS OXY FLOW (F18C) on the ground no longer kills the pilot. THANK YOU for listening, and for sorting this out - it's much appreciated (even though it might seem like a small detail). Gruman Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 A bit offtopic, since you mentioned VR and Kneeboard, did you look at VRK? Hippo Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 A bit offtopic, since you mentioned VR and Kneeboard, did you look at VRK? I'm afraid I wasn't even aware of its existence, thanks for pointing it out. To go way off topic, does it work with P3D under Oculus? It would be invaluable there. TBH (and I'm sure I'm in a minority), I've invested so much time and effort with the default kneeboard, that, even with its MANY limitations, I'm feeling very draggy about changing. Anyway, I'm currently away from my VR rig, and I'm sure I'll give it a go when I get back. All the best with it, btw. Gruman Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 AFAIK it works with all DX 11 Titles. OpenGL (Xplane) is still WIP. Join the discord if you like to chat with the dev directly. You can still use your ingame kneeboards at the same time. It will add another one to use :). Hippo Posted April 24, 2020 Author Posted April 24, 2020 Hopefully it's not bad form to bump this up. I use the kneeboard A LOT in VR, and it's a real pain that its bindings are unusable whilst the sim is paused. It also doesn't make much sense to me. I'm assuming it's a few minor changes to a table to enable this. Please consider. And no, sorry, I haven't tried the 3rd party app suggested. Old dogs, tricks, etc. System spec: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D @ stock, MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Ventus 3X OC 32 GB DDR7, Gigabyte X870 Gaming X, Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB EXPO (2 x 16GB) DDR5 5300MHz C30, Samsung 980 EVO 500 GB NVME M.2 SSD (system drive), WD Black SN 850X 2TB NVME M.2 SSD (games drive), Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 Evo Cooler, Asus XG43UQ Monitor, Oculus Quest Pro, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder
