iFoxRomeo Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Will the F-86 and Mig-15 get a damage model like the WWII-Birds? As they are also Gun-fighter I think it is equally important to have a detailed damage modelling like in the WWII Warbirds. Please don't tread them both like unwanted stepchildren. Magic Zach Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 The plan is that every module will eventually have a detailed damage model Hardware: T-50 Mongoose, VKB STECS, Saitek 3 Throttle Quadrant, Homemade 32-function Leo Bodnar Button Box, MFG Crosswind Pedals Oculus Rift S System Specs: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS, RTX 4090, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5-3600, Samsung 990 PRO Modules: AH-64D, Ka-50, Mi-8MTV2, F-16C, F-15E, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-5E, P-51D, Spitfire Mk LF Mk. QuiGon Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 As Magic Zach said: ALL aircraft will eventually get the new DM (and maybe even ground units at a later point). They just use the warbirds as a starting point and testbed. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
iFoxRomeo Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 My point is, that these both should be next after the Warbirds, as they are using guns as primary weapons. I'd like to see a F-16/F-18 etc. with a proper damage model, but it is not so critical, as missiles are the primary weapons here. Fox Spoiler PC Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X, 3080ti, 64GB RAM, Oculus Quest 3
