steelrfan85 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 I am try to arm my MAVF but I get an X through it. I have A/G selected and master arm on. I never get the countdown for the MAVF to be ready. Am I missing something or any thoughts? Because the MAV isn’t ready, I can’t slew the maverick on the HUD. I also have the correct DDI sensor selected. I double clicked on MAVF so I get the screen with the crosshairs.
Romeo Alpha Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 On the weapons stores page you have to click MAVF twice. That will bring up the warm up/countdown.

I double clicked on MAVF so I get the screen with the crosshairs. Typically around 2:30 of cool down for them to be ready. I know you said that you depressed the OSB button to select the maverick station, that is correct, along with Maverick sensor as SOI, Master arm on and A/G mode selected, should allow you to fire. Are you holding TDC depress while trying to slew the seeker head? If not, you have to do so. There is an option to change the maverick slew characteristic to unrealistic in the aircraft specific settings, if you prefer to not have to do this. steelrfan85 Posted January 31, 2020 Author Posted January 31, 2020 I clicked MAVF twice. No countdown. I went into special settings and unchecked realistic too. It SHOULD work, but it’s not.

Ziptie Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 I just had an issue with them in a MP server as well, but turns out I moved before the ground crew had given the “complete” transmission. Other than that, only time I’ve had the issue. Agree with others, a track file would help get you sorted out. Romeo Alpha Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 My buddy and I had the same issue last night in a multiplayer session. Neither of us could get the MAVF to arm. We had to reset the flight to get them to work.
kaoqumba Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 I also encountered a problem. In the past, when I used TGP to lock a tank, agm65f would automatically transfer the crosshair to the tank. At this time, I only need to keep the plane relatively stable and enter the range to successfully lock the target. Today, after I used the targeting pod to lock the target, although the agm65f successfully transferred to the target, it could not really lock, the launch permit did not appear, and I could not launch the missile.
Gusti Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Same here during MP session. After rearming on the carrier with IR Mavs, the count down was stuck at 3min and did not start. Tried everything but could not figure out what was wrong. However, starting the mission with an assigned IR Mav load out works. To me, looks like a bug after rearming.

Sometimes it is required to undesignate the target via NWS. Also believe this was confirmed as a bug awhile ago. Hopeful for a fix with the incoming update(s)....
