RogueSqdn Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 I've found that in SimAppPro you can adjust the backlighting. My question is: how can this be made persistent? I have the throttle and panel plugged into a powered USB hub which I turn off when I turn the computer off, because otherwise the backlighting stays turned on. However, when I turn the hub back on and the throttle reconnects, the backlighting is again at full brightness. Any ideas? RogueSqdn Posted February 4, 2020 Author Posted February 4, 2020 Thank you for the info. I hope you and yours stay safe and healthy through this situation. That said, will your update allow the device to remember the backlight settings? Thanks again. WINWING Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 (edited) Thank you for the info. I hope you and yours stay safe and healthy through this situation. That said, will your update allow the device to remember the backlight settings? Thanks again. Thank you, 1st rule: when SIMAPP PRO & DCS run, backlight will sync with DCS backlight control in cockpit. SO YOU JUST NEED TO BINDING A AXIS TO THE BACKLIGH ADJUST IN DCS. 2nd rule: when DCS not run, backlight will remember the last set no matter in DCS or SIMAPP. 3rd rule( new rule will addition in new version): when the device lost USB communication, it will turn off. RogueSqdn Posted May 9, 2020 Author Posted May 9, 2020 It’s already in there. I have the WW plugged into a powered hub. Before, the lights would stay on when I shut the computer down, and would only turn off if I powered down the hub. If I did that, I’d lose my backlighting setting and have to redo it. Now when the computer is powered down, the lights turn off even if the hub is still powered. When I power the computer up again, it remembers my backlighting setting. Wmacky Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Can anyone confirm this? I just checked, and my lighting does turn off now when I shut down the computer, but it does not remember the led levels. Neither the throttle or the panel? IS there something you have do do to save this setting?
