Anyone else run into this issue? Shortly after release, after having acquiring a target, I lose complete control of the AGM-62 when I try and adjust it's flight path.

Basically, after I release the bomb and it's gliding towards a target (and the flight path vector is super imposed under the center of the crosshairs) if I choose to switch targets, the bombs fins seems to go full deflection and I lose all control for the rest of the bombs flight.

Anyone have this happening too? I get it really consistently, 90+ percent of the time.

Yeah I had this happen a lot when I first started with the Walleye.

Turns out it's because you're launching from too far out or too slow. The AGM-62 doesn't have enough energy to reach the target so it falls short. As it falls short, the target moves away from the center of the optics. Walleye tries to correct by pitching towards the target, but cannot adjust the flight path as there isn't enough available lift to do so. Eventually the AOA required to keep the target in the crosshair becomes too much, the control fins stall, the target suddenly disappears from view, and the nose of bomb falls back towards the ballistic path.

I've never had the bomb fall short. My experience with it has the bomb flattening out it's trajectory, and gliding well past the target. It isn't a slow onset either, when I move the TDC to select a new target after the drop, the white box flight path marker on the MCDU shoots to the bottom of the display. Then it's unrecoverable
