Flyby Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I hope this means we are closer to release! :D The U.S. Congress is the best governing body that BIG money can buy.
Boberro Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I feel BS will release in first quarter of 20008 :D Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
thereminqblank Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I feel BS will release in first quarter of 20008 :D Dear god I hope not! :P "Unholy Roller" [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]
FVMAD Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 It's NOT a cover, it's - advertisement leaflet (or how it calls) from exhibitions.
VMFA-Blaze Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 What ever it is, I hope that its an accurate depiction of what the battle damage and terrain textures will be in Black Shark.. I noticed as far as battle damage one of the tanks in the foreground had its turret blown off and fire and smoke is rising from in side of the tank... Also the trees and roads are vastly improved in comparison to Lock On... GGTharos Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Given that M1 turrets don't tend to come off the tank, I doubt it's particularly accurate one way or the other. What you see in unedited videos is how things are in BS. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
VMFA-Blaze Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Dear god I hope not! :P I think that release might be even longer then the above predictions.. I read a post yesterday regarding the new mission editor.. Matt said that he was now waiting for the next build to be completed, as somethings are still not resolved... If your looking for a release for the holidays I don't think that this is going to happen .... I mean were almost into December already, so its only about 4 weeks to Christmas (if you celebrate it or not) intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
thereminqblank Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 No I was making a joke because I thought he had accidentally put an extra zero in 2008, thus making it 20008! "Unholy Roller" [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]
EvilBivol-1 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 That is now an outdated add from a Russian game show. Notice it doesn't even mention the DCS title. The art is drawn and not from in-game footage, although the Ka-50 model may be. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules
VMFA117_Poko Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 No I was making a joke because I thought he had accidentally put an extra zero in 2008, thus making it 20008! He made it deliberately and You catch the joke . Anyway, take your time and bring it bugs free (at least less than other devs). We wait so long that one, two, three months more won't do any difference... Can't believe I just said that ... No really, I know You are not lazy laying down and do nothing. I remember our motto: "It'll be done when it's done".
Avimimus Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 So what is this deal with Kamov? Surely, you Russians aren't as crazy as the Americans are when it comes to trademark/copywrite! P.S. Do you think Kamov will ever give input on whether or not to model AAMs...?
leafer Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Wow. That is one ugly leaflet. What's the deal with yellow anyway; they did that with Flanker 2, too. I think yellow should be a no-no in advertisement unless the aim is to spread disease. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
EvilBivol-1 Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Yellow and red are colors of the 1C company, the CIS publisher. The latest cover art that was displayed at E for All can be seen here: http://forum.digitalcombatsimulator.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=206&d=1195907586 The backside includes game features and screenshots. So what is this deal with Kamov? Surely, you Russians aren't as crazy as the Americans are when it comes to trademark/copywrite! They're fast learners. ;) - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Yellow in coop with some colors isn't so bad in advertising if not too much used (i.e. yellow + blue + red) and depending on graphic idea. In this case yellow + red is awfull, you're right .
192nd_Erdem Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 This is very old. Dates back to add-on announcement.
G3 Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 that new poster is sweet. i like it and want one in my sim room wondering is there possibly a download of this poster? poko: your comments on waiting amused me  as they usually do, yes when its done.
