Sorry for this approx 15min track, but I'm unable to reproduce

Time acceleration made this slightly off course. But the cat3 drop happened for me in replay.

The new thing is in the first part. The unsuccessful attaching to cat2 and cat1 with "U",

without radio communication.

The positions where I pressed "U" in previous builds was good enough close to the shuttle to attach.

And I'm unable to produce again in 2 tries.

If not hook up at cat2 and I use radio comm immediately attached, and after connecting Stennis ATC "U" is magically healed to all tested catapults.

Or when I rolled forward attached again without any comm. to ATC.

This bug is annoying as hell. Pressing 'u' flings me into the sea, or on top of the parked planes on deck.

I did some testing on this today. When I pulled up to CAT 3 like a pro, with the launch bar down and set into the shuttle every bit as good as any green shirt could have done (this is all tongue in cheek, but you get the idea) I had no issues with cat hookup. Cat steamed up, JBD came up, launched off the boat with no issues.

When I tried to hook up with the launch bar significantly aft of the shuttle I got ejected from the boat.

Of course there's no track file; if I uploaded a track file you'd see just how bad I am at landing. I'll try it all again tomorrow as well.

Meanwhile, to avoid finding yourself on the USS Annoying, CVN...well...any of them, don't use Cat 3.

I'm not sure if anyone tested it already. The issues with a/c being tossed up or sideways from cat 3 and 4 when pressing "U" seems to be fixed. I've done a series of launches and traps (in one mission) using all 4 cats. I completely disregarded the comms with tower. Not a single crash or "suspended" cat problem... so far:thumbup:

edit: tested SP only
