JRM Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Hello guys! I was trying to configurate my mic in the f16 with srs comms but i dont get any result, for the moment i can only hear radio transmissions fro other players in the servers but i cant transmit and thats because i cant find the keybinding corresponding to the mic in the f16 imput panel, the f14 has a special key for this and in that aircraft transmit works but in the f16 is not working. Maybe im missing something? please let me know if theres a way to make this work, I realy enjoy the chatter in srs comms!!! 1
HayMak3r Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) what throttle do you use? on the warthog, comms is default to the mic switch. which is the 4 axis plus push button thumb switch. uhf is up, and vhf is down, and I have the push button set to ptt within SRS settings. up also is set in srs and down to select the different comms. I had this issue a while back where I couldn't really hear as well. It was my firewall blocking the connection. Even though SRS showed all 3 things connected with green, I had to alter my rule for dcs to account for the other srs servers I have been joining. So hopefully one of those things above is your issue. Cheers! Hopefully this works, but this is the template for the warthog setup on the viper: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?arrFilter_pf[filetype]=70&set_filter=Y&PER_PAGE=100&arrFilter_pf[gameversion]=&arrFilter_pf[filelang]=&arrFilter_pf[aircraft]=30&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&CREATED_BY=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC I don't think this is exactly the default profile anymore, but it at least gives you an idea of what I was talking about :) Granted this means nothing if you are not using that throttle.. =Panther= Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 I just map the comm switch in SRS settings panel, don't do anything special with keybinds in the game. Dispatch Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 One other tip: Confirm SRS binding has nothing else bound to it, in the game. Dont double it up with in game comms. ~
Steph21 Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 You have to set Radio 1 and Radio 2 input in SRS Also make sure you load the correct profile in SRS 1
Frederf Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 You can do either triggering SRS via the normal radio or directly through the program. If you do a lot of multiplayer you probably want to do the latter so you don't have to deal with the AI radio menu every time you talk. What I did was make a joystick profile where it does two different buttons whether I tap the microphone button or hold. Tap does the AI menu while hold does SRS.
