I spent a good 2 days learning and assigning my throttle to where it uses over 120 key presses in 5 different modes. There was a firmware update last month, and before I drop the hammer on updating the firmware, I need to know if I will have to rebuild that entire profile from scratch -otherwise Im just going to leave it. For some reason these profiles are not backwards compatible.

On today's episode of "Did You Know", Cessna Skyhawk crashes into cemetery; over 800 found dead as workers keep digging.

This is why I use joystick gremlin to create button press to keypress bindings

keeps things seperate from the hardware, that way the mode selector on my throttle can set modes for both throttle and joystick

and you can go beyond the 128 button limit windows has

You can export a complete profile (which is limited to that firmware/software version)

or

you can export axis stuff

and

also then export from the button bindings

To be honest if your throttle is working well then leave it alone

I learned my lesson the hard way. If everything is working fine, don't touch the firmware. The most recent firmware introduced new issues to my MT-50. I downgraded to the December firmware version and things are back to normal.
