gdotts Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I would like to follow as a 2-3 or 4 plane in a formation. I don't want the lead!! I do not have the steam edition of anything.... or can fly on the internet. Can I create a mission in the mission builder to where I can do this?? Please advise. Thanks! LuckyFromArma Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 I really hope so. I also hope the A.I. aircraft don't fly the way they do in Missions where you have to follow them.
gdotts Posted March 19, 2020 Author Posted March 19, 2020 Any thoughts as to how to not be lead and practice formation flying??
AegisFX Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Your best idea is to create a plane and its route. Spawn your plane near it and then follow it. ricktoberfest Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Any thoughts as to how to not be lead and practice formation flying?? Just set up a flight in the mission editor with a path, and set the number 2 aircraft to client or player. Unfortunately the AI doesn’t really tell you when they’re turning or anything that might help you so it’s rather hard to stay with them. I suppose you could just set them to orbit indefinitely if all you want to do is practice going in circles.
