Can I fly formation (not in multiplayer) as a #2-3 or 4 man?

I would like to follow as a 2-3 or 4 plane in a formation. I don't want the lead!! I do not have the steam edition of anything.... or can fly on the internet. Can I create a mission in the mission builder to where I can do this?? Please advise.

Thanks!

Your best idea is to create a plane and its route. Spawn your plane near it and then follow it.

Any thoughts as to how to not be lead and practice formation flying??

Just set up a flight in the mission editor with a path, and set the number 2 aircraft to client or player. Unfortunately the AI doesn’t really tell you when they’re turning or anything that might help you so it’s rather hard to stay with them. I suppose you could just set them to orbit indefinitely if all you want to do is practice going in circles.
