Special option tab is not saving

Hai,

 

My name is Max and this is my first post, so bear with me.

 

After a two month absence i started Dcs World again and noticed that the auto pilot did not function on the UH-1H. After a look in the special options tab all the checkboxes are unchecked and the drop down menu's did not function. Same for the f-16, MI8, F-86 etc. Not all the planes though. I also can't put the KA-50 cockpit in english for example. I run the Steam version and did an integrity check. Also the latest update made no difference either. I have no significant mods installed, except for a few liveries map wich i removed from the game folder, and some kneeboards folders.

 

Normally a look on this forum solves the problem rather quickly but i can't find anything.

 

Anybody a solution?

Have you tried deleting your user profile? Find it in

C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\DCS (or DCS.openbeta)

 

If it's not saving any settings, something in there might have got set to read only or something is conflicting.

 

Obviously make a back up first.

Tried it but no luck. When I try it to many times it shuts down en restarts.

Is re-installing an option? And will the modules re-install automaticaly?

A shot in the dark: did you remember to turn off game flight mode and game avionics mode in realism settings? Many special options won't work if these are on, nor will many control assignments.

It can be found in your saved games dcs logs folder

Sorry for my stupidity but how do i do that? I can't attach a folder, only one single file and there hundreds of them.
