Update 2022-05-26: Dirt reduced and skins updated to DCS 2.7.11

The Chilean Air Force selected the F-16 as the winner of a long-running competition to provide the nation's next generation of fighter aircraft in 2000 and has already received all of its ten F-16C/D Block 50+ aircrafts. Eighteen surplus F-16A/B MLU aircraft (11 F-16AM and 7 F-16BM) were bought from the Netherlands in 2005. In late 2008, the Chilean Ministry of Defense expressed its interest in buying 18 more aircraft from the Netherlands, which was later confirmed in April 2009.

The skin pack features the old F-16A MLU as well as the new F-16C scheme.

The Oman Air Force looks very easy to make :D Thanks for the reference shots Don.

 

In the meantime here is the current state of the Chilean F-16. I'm not quite happy with the result of the three-tone camouflage. Have to change it.

Just tried these new liveries, but one of them (732) isnt working for me, it's very strange as I installed both skins on the same way:

Ahhh ... yes, I did :doh: .. I always rename the liveries, to conform to my own nomenclature:

 

 

... I will edit the description.lua and fix this, dont worry :thumbup:

Edit: It's fixed .. I opted to just copy the files, the livery ends up using a bit more hard drive space, but I prefer the flexibility gained by having every livery independent of one another.

Thanks a lot .. I actually liked both versions, sometimes I do want a dirty plane, but other times I prefer the cleaner one ... so, I opted to keep both versions of each livery :thumbup:

I have uploaded v4 which is still in approval state by ED.

With the new version I reduced the dirt a little bit and updated the skins to DCS 2.7.11.
