No music in Music Player

I can access the Music Player in the UFC but I don't hear any music. Am I suppose to install my own music somewhere in some format? Any proper detailed user instructions out there? Thanks

How to Add Music to DPlayer

==================

 

Number of loaded audio files XX is determined in Special Options (Max is 30)

 

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\JF-17\Sounds\sdef\Cockpit\DPlayer

2. Create music_01.sdef to music_XX.sdef by copying _example.sdef

3. Use Notepad++ to open each sdef and change the music name (music_01, ..., music_10) Note: no appendix name

4. Go to ...JF-17\Sounds\Effects\DPlayer

5. Put your music_01 to music_XX (in ogg or wav formats only) in there

6. File names must be music_01 to music_XX where XX is determined by MUSIC NUM slider in the Special Options

You could bother yourself by clicking on the Readme docs in the folders.

They could simply have cut and paste it in their post if they want to highlight how users can get the new feature to work. Then again, proper instructions and tutorials have never been their strong point and are still lacking today.

You mean like they did a week before the patch/feature went live? With pictures and where to find detailed info for setup..... :music_whistling:

Maybe not copy and paste, but that post does have a picture of the file path needed to find the readme files
